TEC Cooling (Thermoelectric Cooling)

A cooling method using the Peltier effect to reduce detector temperature. ExPro R Series uses 2-stage TEC active cooling (−60°C) to minimize thermal noise in the CCD detector for high-sensitivity Raman detection.
