Overview – NanoQ Series

NanoQ Series (Microvolume Spectrophotometer)
The NanoQ’s sample compression technology forms an ultra-thin, uniform liquid film between two quartz surfaces, creating an optimized environment for light transmission and precise measurement.
By maintaining a stable sample column, it minimizes the impact of environmental factors and sample variability, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
In addition, its precision optical design delivers excellent linearity across a wide detection range, while automated spectral analysis and repeat measurements ensure high confidence even at low concentrations.
Core Technology
4-Point Optical Path System
NanoQ features K LAB’s proprietary 4-point optical path design, ensuring exceptional accuracy and enhanced data reliability.
By dynamically optimizing the optical path length (10 mm, 2 mm, 1 mm, 0.3 mm), the system delivers precise measurements across a wide concentration range while maintaining consistent data quality.
Sample Compression Technology
Creates a uniform ultra-thin liquid film between quartz surfaces for optimized light transmission and precise measurement.
Key Features
Microvolume Measurement
NanoQ enables microvolume measurement with as little as 1 µL of sample, eliminating the need for dilution while saving time and valuable samples.
Auto Pathlength System
Its auto pathlength system automatically adjusts the optical path based on sample concentration, ensuring accurate results across a wide dynamic range.
Stand-Alone Operation
The stand-alone design allows full operation, data analysis, and storage directly on the device without requiring an external PC, improving efficiency and workspace utilization.
Intuitive Touchscreen Interface
A 7-inch touchscreen with an intuitive interface provides easy operation, even for first-time users, and supports use with laboratory gloves.
Fast & Compact Design
With no lamp warm-up required and a compact, lightweight design, NanoQ delivers fast measurements and fits seamlessly into any laboratory environment.

Features
Full Spectrum Analysis

The NanoQ Series incorporates an array-based spectrophotometric system utilizing a xenon flash lamp and a 2048-element CMOS linear image sensor, enabling rapid acquisition of full absorbance spectra across the UV to visible range (190–850 nm) within seconds.
This high-speed spectral measurement is complemented by advanced data processing algorithms, including peak and valley detection, allowing precise spectral interpretation and enhanced analytical accuracy.
Data Security & User Menu

The NanoQ system supports secure data management through user login functionality with role-based access control, allowing different permission levels for each user.
The main interface is organized into four primary tabs—Nucleic Acid, Protein (UV), Protein Assay, and More—providing structured and intuitive access to measurement modes.
Users can create customized menus by combining frequently used measurement modes, improving workflow efficiency and ease of use. Up to two user-defined menus can be registered, and menus created by other users are protected from unauthorized deletion to ensure data integrity and system consistency.
Impurity Correction Technology

Unlike conventional systems that rely on single wavelength ratios (A260/A280), NanoQ analyzes the full spectrum (220–350 nm) to automatically correct for contaminants such as:
This allows simultaneous verification of concentration and purity—without additional calculations or sample preparation.
