ProTecUV – Sensor

Depending on the needs, users can choose from a variety of wavelengths such as 254, 280, 290, 300, 313 nm, and optical pathlength in the range of 1 – 160 mm. This makes it applicable to Aromatic compound detection, protein concentration, and other demanding applications.

The use of sapphire as optical windows provides high hardness and resistance to chemical corrosion. It also offers a variety of line sizes and process connections and wetted materials to facilitate connection to process equipment.

Technology

High-Precision Inline Optical Intensity Monitoring System

Designed for inline process monitoring, this system ensures accurate concentration measurement with high reproducibility and linearity. During data acquisition, a reference channel photodiode (PD) simultaneously measures the light source intensity, compensating for fluctuations in the light output. This enables high accuracy and long-term stability. Additionally, a specialized LED light source is employed, offering an extended operational lifetime of over 10,000 hours.

Technical Assembly & Features (Sensor Body)

Window Assembly
Precisely align the windows with the internal grooves of the product body and assemble them on both sides.

Sealing Enhancement
Install chemical-resistant O-rings on both sides of each window to ensure airtight and leak-proof sealing.

Cover Fastening
Press the windows into place and secure the covers completely using bolts.

Electronics-Free Design
The Sensor Body features a purely mechanical, electronics-free design, containing no electrical components.
